The Voice

⁶ The messengers went out to Esau and then returned to Jacob with a troubling report.

⁷ When Jacob heard their report, he was afraid and extremely distressed. He divided up the people who were with him, the flocks, the herds, and the camels into two camps, ⁸ thinking, “If Esau comes to one camp and crushes it, at least then the other might escape.”
